Nike’s hugely revered Flyknit Lunar runner was designed based on insights from the world’s best marathon runners and showed the world that Nike was still at the top of the game when it came to performance design. Building on this world beating technology, the Flyknit Lunar 3 incorporates a dual density re-engineered Lunarlon and firm Phylon sole unit, the outsole design utilises a pressure mapped-outsole allowing for more natural foot movement.
When the Nike Flyknit LunarGlide 6 samples started pouring in, there was hope that the silhouette would actually release. Unfortunately that pair never arrived at retailers, because Nike was saving the Flyknit construction for the Nike LunarGlide 7. The running model utilizes a combination of the ever flexible and breathable Engineered Mesh on the toebox while Flyknit makes its presence known on the side panel and heel. There’s definitely an appeal in a shoe that combines both technologies, but we’re still hoping for an all-Flyknit-everything rendition to actually be available for purchase. Check out more photos of Nike Running’s latest below and head to Nike retailers now to broaden your running shoe spectrum with the newest installment of the Lunarglide series.

These men’s shoes are equipped with energy-returning boost™ foam in the heel to keep every step charged with an endless supply of light, fast energy. A mesh upper offers breathable comfort and TORSION® SYSTEM for midfoot support.
|Shoe Weight:||332 g (size UK 8.5)|
The torsion bar allows the foot to move with its natural torsional movement. Located through the sole of the foot, the torsion bar provides support for the foot and promotes natural movement.
Endless energy: The new BOOST™ foam with its unique energy capsules features a magical combination of functional benefits: Unlike any other foam it gives a soft and springy cushioning and feels ‘alive’. It energizes your running stride for more efficiency independent from the temperature and ensures maximum comfort.
To determine the correct type of running shoe for your feet, use the tried and tested “wet foot test”. Dip your foot into water and then stand on a surface that will show your footprint – a towel or piece of paper or cardboard. The shape of your wet footprint indicates the amount of stability you might need in your shoe.If your footprint looks like the one on the right (with a very narrow band or no band at all between the forefoot and the heel) then you should choose shoes from the cushion category on this page Cushioned shoes generally have the softest midsoles and the least added stability. They’re built on a semicurved or curved last to encourage foot motion, which is helpful for runners who have rigid, immobile feet (underpronators). You should buy these if you’re an efficient runner whose feet don’t roll inwards excessively (overpronate) when you run.

The Nike Free Flyknit 4.0 continues the tradition of Flyknit with a woven upper that conforms to the foot for breathable, lightweight comfort with each stride. Flywire cables deliver support without extra weight, while the flexible Nike Free midsole/outsole gives you natural range of motion over any distance.
This new Nike Air Max 2016 isn’t that bad either, but I’m hoping for more classic colorways.The sole unit is very similar to the unit currently used on the Air Max 2015, and the Flywire Technology looks to be a refined version of what is currently offered as well, overlaid on top of a one piece Engineered Mesh upper.
